Abstract

The article discusses the features of teaching listening to foreign students when learning Russian and Uzbek languages. According to the authors, it is necessary to provide for the development of all types of speech activity: listening, speaking, reading, writing and practicing phonetic, lexical and lexico-grammatical skills. But preference will be given to the formation and activation of the listening process, where each exercise must be preceded by a clearly formulated listening goal and an attitude towards its result. Russian Russian also emphasizes that when perceiving the differences between individual sounds and sound combinations, pay attention to the similarity of oppositions in Russian and Uzbek of vowels and consonants in deafness-sonority, hardness-softness, reduction of vowel sounds, when working on speech models, focus on the differences in the structure of sentences in Russian and Uzbek languages. In conclusion, it is said that the successful mastery of Russian and Uzbek largely depends on a rational approach to identifying the stage of formation of auditory-pronunciation skills and creating an appropriate system of exercises based on them. Overcoming the accent as a skill system is considered by us as the deautomatization of the skill of incorrect pronunciation and the formation of the correct variant.
