Abstract

Thearticleanalyzes the process of formation of socialcompetencies in olderpreschoolchildrenbased on nationaleducation.Specialattention is paid to the importance of nationalvalues,traditionsandculturalheritagein the development of a child's personality.Thepedagogicalconditions that ensuresuccessfulsocialdevelopment of preschoolers are considered.Effectivemethodsandforms of workaimedatdevelopingcommunicationskills,cooperation,mutual respect andresponsibility are described.Therole of the familyandpreschooleducationalorganizationsinfosteringpatriotismandcivicidentity is emphasized. The materials of the articlecanbeuseful for teachers,educators,methodologistsandresearchersin the field of preschooleducation. The resultsobtainedcontribute to the improvement of the content of educationalworkand the introduction of nationallyorientedpedagogicalpracticesinpreschoolinstitutions of the countryat the presentstage.
