The communicative competence of a teacher plays a crucial role in modern education, especially in the field of preschool education. The effectiveness of the educational environment largely depends on the teacher’s ability to interact with children, parents, and colleagues. The ability to communicate effectively contributes to creating a comfortable atmosphere, building trustful relationships, and improving the quality of the educational process. This article examines the main types of competencies necessary for teachers, including psychological-pedagogical, socio-psychological, and communicative competencies. The significance of communicative culture as an essential element of professional mastery is emphasized. The article analyzes the problems that arise in teacher-parent interactions, such as a lack of mutual understanding, differing views on child-rearing, and teachers’ insufficient readiness for constructive dialogue. Key mistakes that may hinder effective interaction are described, including an authoritarian communication style, a directive approach, stereotypical thinking, and a lack of empathy.
