The mission of the Journal is to disseminate new ideas, topical scientific and technological issues, new
developments, and research findings to a wide audience of specialists.
The Journal publishes the results of scientific research carried out by researchers, faculty members,
Master and PhD students, as well as industry professionals, provided that the submitted work is of priority relevance and/or has scientific and practical significance. The Journal welcomes analytical, review, and problem-oriented research papers, as well as discussion materials addressing current issues in fundamental and applied research in the following areas:
– Humanities
– Social Sciences
– Pedagogical Sciences
– Economic Sciences
– Legal Sciences
The decision on whether an article may be published in the Journal is made based on the conclusion of
the Expert Commission, the membership of which is approved by the Academic Council of M. Auezov
South Kazakhstan University.
Submission Procedure
– To use the submission portal, authors must register at: au.auezov.edu.kz.
– Articles must be submitted electronically by uploading the manuscript via the Journal’s website at:
au.auezov.edu.kz.
– Languages of publication: Kazakh, Russian, English.
– Publication frequency: 4 issues per year.
Manuscript format requirements
1. The manuscript must be submitted in hard copy and in electronic format. The text shall be prepared
in Microsoft Word using Times New Roman font. Font size: 12 pt for the main text; 11 pt for figures,
diagrams, and charts. Line spacing: single. First-line indent: 1.0 cm. Alignment: justified.
2. Page setup: A4 format; margins: left – 2 cm, right – 2 cm, top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm.
3. The total length of the article, including tables, figures, and references, must be 4 to 10 pages.
4. The article title must be concise and accurately reflect the content (in three languages).
5. Language requirements for abstracts:
- For an article in Kazakh: Аннотация and Abstract are required.
- For an article in Russian: Түйін and Abstract are required.
- For an article in English: Түйін and Аннотация are required.
- The content of Аннотация, Түйін, and Abstract must be identical. Word count: 100-150 words.
6. Author information must include: full name, academic degree, academic title, institutional
affiliation, city, country, and e-mail address (in three languages).
7. Manuscripts that do not comply with the formatting requirements will be processed with delay.
Structure of the article
A research paper must include the following elements:
1. UDC (Universal Decimal Classification index) – placed in the upper left corner (11 pt). To assign a
UDC, authors may use: http://teacode.com/online/udc/
2. Author name(s) – centered, justified across the line (12 pt).
Below: position, academic degree and title, institutional affiliation, city, country (in three languages)
(11 pt). Author details must be centered. The initials and surname are written as: L.A. Myrzayev (initials
first, then surname). Font: bold. In one issue, an author may publish no more than two articles, including co-authorship. The number of authors must not exceed 5.

3. *Corresponding author: indicate the corresponding author and one author’s e-mail (11 pt).
4. Article title – after a blank line; bold, centered. The title must accurately reflect the content and be
concise. Abbreviations in the title are not allowed. ALL CAPS, 12 pt.
5. Abstract – in the language of the article; first-line indent 1 cm, 11 pt. After one blank line, provide
an abstract of 100-150 words.
The abstract must be presented as one paragraph (Russian and English abstracts for Kazakh-language
articles; Kazakh and English abstracts for Russian-language articles; Kazakh and Russian abstracts for
English-language articles).
The abstract must include the following mandatory elements:
– purpose of the study,
– research methodology,
– originality (value) of the research,
– research findings (results).
The abstract is a concise summary of the study. It must clearly present the essence of the research.
Results should be described accurately and informatively. The text must not contain secondary information, excessive introductory phrases, vague statements, abbreviations, or references. The abstract must be written as one paragraph.
A well-prepared and properly translated abstract increases interest in the article and improves the
likelihood of citation by international scholars.
6. Keywords – 5 to 7 words, 11 pt.
Keywords are used to search for the article and identify its subject area. First-line indent: 1 cm.
Avoid participial constructions and overly complex phrases that do not represent natural search
queries.
Keywords should be relevant, natural, and not overloaded, so as not to appear as spam.
7. Main text (12 pt). The article should be structured using headings (headings are not numbered), for
example:
Introduction (mandatory)
Relevance of the topic, literature review, and key provisions of the study
Materials and Methods
- Theoretical analysis
- Experimental part
Figures, maps, photographs, tables, and formulas should be prepared using computer software and
placed in the text as they are mentioned. Figure numbers use Arabic numerals. The figure caption is centered below the figure (e.g., Figure 1 – Title).
Tables should appear in the text immediately after the first reference to them or on the next page. The
table number and title are placed on the left side of the page (e.g., Table 1 – Title). If a table continues onto the next page, columns must be numbered, and the following note is placed at the top right: Continuation of
Table 1.
Formulas must be typed using an equation editor (Microsoft Equation or MathType). Tables and
figures must be placed after their first mention in the text. Each table must have a title. Figures must be clear
and not scanned. Example of a figure caption: Fig. 1. Dependence …: a – …; b – …
All abbreviations and acronyms, except generally known ones, must be defined at their first mention.
Results and Discussion
Conclusions (mandatory)
Conclusion, research results and discussion, practical proposals and recommendations.
Funding information (if applicable)
Acknowledgements
If applicable, provide one paragraph acknowledging funding sources, organizations, and individuals
who contributed to the study.
References (mandatory)
After one blank line, centered. The reference list must include only sources cited in the text and
published or accepted for publication. Sources are numbered in the order they appear in the manuscript.
References published within the last 10-15 years must constitute at least 70% of the list. The minimum

number of references is 7. Citations in the text must be indicated in square brackets without page numbers
([1], [2], …).
References (Latin script)
If the article is submitted in Kazakh or Russian, the transliterated reference list is mandatory. For
transliteration:
- Russian sources: http://translit-online.ru
- Kazakh sources: https://qazlat.kz
At the end of the article, provide for each author: full name (including patronymic if applicable),
academic degree and title, place of employment; name of the university/organization, city, country; contact
information (e-mail). Also include: article title, abstract, and keywords in two languages other than the
language of the article (Kazakh/Russian and English).
Peer review and plagiarism check
The Editorial Office independently sends submitted manuscripts for review. The Journal uses
double-blind peer review, ensuring confidentiality.
The manuscript is checked for plagiarism using licensed software. The originality level must be at
least 70%. If the originality is below the required threshold, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision.
Submission conditions
1. The manuscript must not have been previously published and must not be under consideration for
publication in another journal.
2. In one issue of the Journal, an author may publish no more than two articles, including co-
authorship (other cases are decided by the Editorial Board).
3. The number of authors must not exceed 5.
