FORMATION OF A RESPONSIBLE PARENTAL POSITION AMONG FATHERS OF ADOLESCENT STUDENTS IN THE PROCESS OF SCHOOL–FAMILY INTERACTION

Abstract

Modern social transformations, changes in the structure of the family, and the increasing complexity of educational tasks during adolescence actualize the problem of forming a responsible parental position among fathers. Despite the active development of the pedagogy of family upbringing, most studies focus primarily on the role of the mother, while the participation of the father in the educational and upbringing process of adolescent’s remains insufficiently studied. In the context of modernization of the education system, the interaction between school and family acquires particular importance as an institutional environment for the formation of responsible fatherhood.The purpose of this study is to analyze the pedagogical conditions for the formation of a responsible parental position among fathers of adolescents in the process of interaction between school and family. The paper examines the theoretical foundations of responsible fatherhood, the characteristics of adolescence as a critical period of socialization, and the role of educational institutions in shaping effective models of family upbringing.The methodological basis of the research is formed by systemic, axiological, and socio-pedagogical approaches. The study employed methods of theoretical analysis of scientific literature, parental surveys, pedagogical observation, and comparative analysis. The empirical basis of the study included a survey of parents of adolescent students in secondary schools.
