Abstract

The article analyzes the results of experimental work on the formation of leadership qualities in older preschoolers. An analysis of the state of the issue of the formation of leadership qualities in older preschoolers showed the following: educators do not pay enough attention to the formation of discipline, leadership qualities, responsibility, and performance in children. This work is carried out by them sporadically, as there is no program and methodological material in this area. It also reveals the methodology for the formation of leadership qualities in children aged 5-7 years in preschool institutions, where a formative experiment was conducted with educators and parents, 3 socio-psychological trainings were conducted on the methodology for the formation of leadership qualities in older preschoolers. The formative experiment was conducted in two stages. At the first stage, 5 classes were held, where children were taught such qualities as discipline, independence, responsibility, efficiency, initiative. At the second stage of the formative experiment, children's knowledge of leadership qualities was expanded and various types of activities were organized with them, as well as joint work between adults and children.
