The article discusses the main elements of organizational and artistic work with a dance group. The ethical and aesthetic aspects of choreographic practice for both teachers and students of the choreographic faculty are analyzed, traditional and innovative teaching methods, forms and approaches in dance education are analyzed. The art of dance has great power as a means of aesthetic education of the individual. At dance lessons, children get acquainted with the world of beauty, develop artistic abilities. Interaction with dance develops children's ability to listen, understand and appreciate music, instills a deep love for the art of music. This training lays the foundation for children to become demanding and educated music listeners in the future.
In the field of dance, the joy and love of a child's life, as well as his creative imagination and ingenuity, are manifested. The child learns to express himself through movement, which allows him to create plastic images. Dancing classes serve as a means of relieving tension, increasing attention, improving emotional reactions and, in general, increasing the vitality of the child and his behavior in general.
