Abstract

This article examines the key aspects of literary translation, the main difficulties faced by translators, as well as the impact of translation on the perception of works of art in different cultures. The main features of literary translation Artistic translation differs significantly from technical, scientific, or business translation, since its main purpose is not just to convey information, but also to preserve the artistic value of the text. This is especially important for the translation of fiction, drama, and poetry, where not only words are important, but also their rhythm, metaphors, subtexts, and cultural references. Translation plays a crucial role in conveying the meaning, emotions, and cultural characteristics of works of art from one nation to another. Art is the universal language of mankind, however, in order for a work to be understood in a different cultural context, a competent translation is required that can not only transfer information from one language to another, but also preserve.
