The article is devoted to the study of the regulatory and legal bases of liability for offenses in the construction industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in particular, the analysis of the main acts regulating the legal consequences for violations of norms and standards of construction. It was noted that construction is an important component of the country's infrastructural development and economic progress, but this sector is not without violations that can harm both financial interests and the safety of human life and health. The article analyzes the features of the existing control mechanisms that determine responsibility for violations in the construction sector, and focuses on the need to improve the legal system to prevent violations in the industry. It is noted that the state building regulations define the technical requirements for safety and quality of work, as well as their environmental friendliness and energy efficiency. In conclusion, it was noted that in order to ensure an appropriate level of safety in the construction industry, it is necessary to improve the regulatory framework, in particular, to strengthen control over the implementation of building regulations and increase responsibility for violations in the industry.
