This article discusses the concept of "slang in the English language" and its use in computer sublanguage. First, a broad description of the term "slang" is provided, and the spread of new slang terms in the field of computers, as well as their use in everyday spoken culture, is examined. One of the main reasons for the rapid emergence of new words in computer slang is the rapid development of computer technologies. Currently, there is significant attention paid to the development of microprocessor technology, computing, and computer technologies worldwide. As a result, new terms and words have become an integral part of the computer field's lexicon. With the increasing number of people working with computers, new terms from the closed lexicon of programmers and specialists in computer technologies are widely integrated into everyday spoken language.
