ISSUES OF LOCAL STUDIES IN THE PRACTICE OF MASTERING UNIVERSITY DISCIPLINES

Abstract

The proposed article is a description of one of the options for the content and methodological support of work on local history. This is a kind of announcement of the manual “Shymkent is my native city”, intended for students of pedagogical specialties, as well as methodologists, teachers and lecturers. Since the material selected and systematized in the manual is focused on the implementation of training, developmental and educational tasks, the compilers consider the integrated nature of the selected material to be correct. The connecting link here was the patriotic act "Tugan zher", which determined approaches to the selection and systematization of information about the unique southern city, about its past and present, about its sights and people who glorified it. In 2022, a printed version of the manual was published, in 2023 - its electronic version, in which, in accordance with the tasks of the grant project AP092559731, due attention is paid to art history material presented in a didactic format.
