The growing impacts of climate change make the improvement of forestry efficiency in the Republic of Kazakhstan a strategically important factor in strengthening national environmental security. Enhancing the economic performance of the forestry sector requires scientifically grounded management of forest resources, rational use of timber reserves and the modernization of forest conservation mechanisms. Stimulating ecological investments, expanding the application of green economy principles, and introducing innovative technologies into production processes represent key drivers for sustainable development in this sector. Under increasing climate risks, special emphasis should be placed on expanding carbon-sequestration potential, implementing advanced forest restoration approaches, and applying digital monitoring tools for ecosystem control. The consistent integration of environmental policy with effective economic incentives contributes to resource conservation, ecological balance, and an overall increase in the value of natural capital.
