The article analyzes the socio-cultural aspects of creating event tourism in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The article also examines key factors that contribute to the development of this segment of tourism, such as cultural heritage, ethnic traditions and modern trends in organizing events. The main focus is on the role of cultural events, such as festivals, exhibitions, sports and music events, in attracting tourists and strengthening the country's image. The importance of interaction between government agencies, businesses and local communities in the process of creating and implementing event projects is assessed. A study of the economic and social effects of holding major events, including increasing employment, improving infrastructure and developing small businesses, is conducted. The article emphasizes the need to take into account cultural characteristics and a sustainable approach in the development and organization of event tourism, and also considers the prospects for its growth in Kazakhstan.
